we’re proud to present an hour long special from the mighty four tet, to celebrate the 11th june release of his new album ‘the sun’ as part of fridge (with fellow band members adem ilham & sam jeffers). recorded last June the mix has matured nicely, featuring some of the key highlights of 2006, including carl craig’s epochal mix of delia & gavin’s revelee, skream’s ‘midnight request line’ and paul woolford’s ‘erotic discourse’ amongst a connoisseur’s selection of techno, jazz, hip hop and psychedelia. whilst we’re on the subject you should also be sure to check mr hebden’s awesome installment of the DJ Kicks series here.
