23 year old music student and part-time waiter ricardo tobar hails from the seaside town of viña del mar in chile from which to began to make waves last year with his debut release ‘el sunset’ on trusty ol border community.

taking inspiration from the seemingly disparate influences of goa trance uk shoegaze scene (as evidenced on this weeks mix) his warm, fuzzy and intensly musical sounds is set to reach even more dancefloors with the release of his second bc EP ‘boy love girl’. a scrungy delight of sparkling synths, rippling guitars and pulsing beats, you can purchase it here.
